The biggest problem for most writers is finding a way to make writing pay. In the traditional freelance model, you have to find writing jobs yourself. Finding the writing jobs means marketing yourself, and your writing, far and wide. When you eventually find a customer, you have to negotiate terms, submit work, wait for approval, invoice and collect the cash. The whole process is hard work, very labor intensive, and a huge distraction from productive writing.
Since our goal is to create Passive Income, we must eliminate the hard work so we can focus on what we enjoy most or do best- in this case – writing.
Fortunately, there are some great solutions that take the hard work out of being a freelance writer. There are several sites that offer a marketplace where writers and buyers can interact. By far and away, in my opinion, the best marketplace is Constant Content.
What makes Constant Content so special? While the whole business model is designed to attract and retain writer who will happily and productively submit quality work. Quality work in turn attracts loyal buyers who rely on Constant Content for (mostly) website content. Click more to for a detailed review of Constant Content features and benefits.
Constant Content seeks Quality over Quantity. It is not an article mill pumping out spun and re-spun garbage. All submissions must be unique and original. Submitting plagiarized material results in a swift and permanent ban.
All articles are reviewed by a human editor – very carefully. You are expected to self edit carefully. Only work that is grammatically perfect, contains no spelling errors, and reads well gets accepted. Editorial and plagiarism controls are an advantage because content buyers know they will get high quality work, and the writers get paid really well for the quality. The quality controls also keep out poor writers, reducing competition to a manageable level. Non-native speakers of English generally can’t meet site standards.
The small site staff really connect with the writers and customers proactively. Staff answer writer questions and address concerns quickly and professionally in a forum. If you have written for some other sites you already know how refreshing this professional open attitude is. In the forum you will find the atmosphere among authors is very supportive, yet blunt, which in invaluable for improving your written work.
Constant Content is not a bidding site. Writers do not have to compete head to head for jobs with increasingly low bids. Writers set their own prices for three different levels of sale, including the option to allow buyers to make a Best Offer. This results in fair prices for all and control over your writing income.
As a writer, you can submit articles on any topic you like (subject to the reasonable guidelines). You will need to provide the actual article, a short unique summary, key words and pricing. Once approved the article goes into the site to be found and bought by buyers where Constant Content handles all the marketing and details of the sale. You can forget about your completed article until cash lands in your Paypal account.
The other great thing about Constant Content is the steady steam of customer requested articles on a wide variety of topics. Authors with writers block, or those just interested in the chance to make some quick cash can submit content to match the customer requests. Approved articles are automatically sent to the requestor for consideration. If your article is not selected by the customer it goes on the site for anyone to buy.
For all this great service freeing up your life to write more or do other thing you enjoy more then trying to find buyers and collect money from them, Constant Content takes a very reasonable 35% cut and gives the author 65% of whatever the total sale price is. The minimum payout is only $5.00 so carryovers are rare. Payments are made early in the month and reportedly very punctual. There is no geographic restriction either; any one with a Paypal account can sell articles on Constant Content.
Finally, Constant Content has a low budget way to attract new writers. Rather then advertise heavily for additional writers they set up an author to author referral program. When you join Constant Content as an author you will get a referral code you can share with other writers later to earn some passive income. They pay 5% from the Constant Content side of the sale to whoever recruited the writer (no effect on the writer’s 65% take).
So if you found this site review helpful, join Constant Content as an author from this link to Constant Content and become a wildly successful author. I look forward to sharing in your success for pointing you in the “write” direction.
Good luck and write on.
