Today’s Tip to Save Time on Reno Projects
Saving time is important because for a business person, time really can be money. Do you market things or ideas online and then head for the brick and mortar store to shop? How does that make sense and how can you learn from that experience?
Instead, follow this easy way to save time and money – shop online for things you might not think to shop online for. For example say you need porcelain sinks. It makes a lot of sense to buy your porcelain sink online because you can get a wide selection at a great price by cutting out the middleman. Think about how much easier it is to sit at home and shop than to run all over looking for sinks to buy. Your time and money is better spent working on your online business (or sitting on a beach even).
What to Do With Your Extra Time
When shopping online look carefully at what the retailers are doing to bring you into their store. How do they highlight specials? How do they encourage you to buy an additional product. How do they get across the concept of value? How can you incorporate these ideas into your business and how can you avoid their mistakes.
One key to marketing is to build interlinked related content through your niche site and revenue sharing sites like those listed in this blog’s resources page.
What have you done today to strengthen your position in your chosen niche and increase your income?

Great Post, i’d also like to add reading womens magazines and watching shopping channels is also a great resource to find out how people market products.
Nice tips Peter.
I think you bring up a great idea in this post, and it’s also one I first grabbed onto when listening to “The 4 Hour Work Week” by Timothy Ferriss. When you add in how much time would be spent running around looking for a good sink (or other odd item), comparing deals, getting through traffic, and then how tired you’ll be when you get home and have to do housework, it’s easy to lose an entire day from one errand. Considering that you can have that all done online in less than an hour, and possibly with free shipping (it’s amazing all the crap Amazon sells nowadays), it’s completely worth an extra $20 or $40 or more to free up my entire day. Especially when you get to the point where you’re making $20+ an hour, it makes NO sense to spend a whole day looking for an odd item when you can order it, cross it off the list, and do a day of work instead.
