As I’ve mentioned before, I’m checking into PayPerPost. I’m not intending to turn this into a paid review blog but many of my readers are interested in how to monetize their blogs, and that raises the question of using PayPerPost, Sponsored Reviews, or other similar sites. So here is a real live example of how you can do a paid post.
I signed up to PayPerPost a while back, but now I finally got an actual offer for $2 through them from a company called Melrose Moving in LA. Melrose is targeting three keyword phrases (the linked text in this post). These keyword phrases are highly searched phrases right on target for Los Angeles Moving Companies looking to rank high in the SERPs. In case you actually need to move in or to LA, you can reach this employee owned company at 1-800-431-3920 for a free moving quote.
While this blog has absolutely nothing to do with Movers Los Angeles or Moving Companies Los Angeles, all the client is really looking for is anchored backlinks to enhance their homepage in the SERPs.
You can use the same strategy to build up your site for your chosen keywords. Either post a job through one of the paid reviews sites, or just build the links yourself through other web properties you own. Obviously some keywords are harder than others to rank for. See this post on Silver Bullion and SEO for more link building ideas.

It is a pretty easy system to use. Just try it.
I wrote Pay Per Post articles a few years ago and my first month there I earned over $100.00. I got away from the blogging for awhile and only recently found my way back to them.
I find the reviews very easy to write and only recently had a slap-myself-upside-the-head moment when I realized I was missing a perfect opportunity to write great SEO articles that will benefit my site while still satisfying the requirements of the paid post.
I’m going back and re-write the article I slapped together for laser hair removal as after I wrote it I did what I should have done in the first place – keyword research!
My article will still satisfy the client but will also draw traffic to my site as well!
All in all, it’s a good thing! The only issue I have now is the fact that my blog has been slow to attract new review projects but as it ages I’m sure the opportunities will pick up.

A post that is obviously just to meet the requirements of the opp does nothing for your readers. A post that meets your readers needs, is SEO friendly, and actually says something is worth doing with the small payment a nice bonus. The opps are slow for everyone. The only solution seems to be to have more blogs in different niches.
